Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully as they set forth the legally binding terms and conditions that govern your use of and access to the Billions Network, including the Billions mobile app, the Billions web wallet, and the Registration Portal (all together, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
1. Description of the Platform
Billions (“Billions” or the “Platform”) is a secure identity Platform that allows both humans and AI to prove who they are online without revealing personal data. Billions uses privacy-preserving technology, including Zero-Knowledge (ZK) proofs, to give users control over their identity and how it is verified. Through the Registration Portal and Identity Wallet, users can create and manage a unique digital identity and access Platform features such as onboarding activities and referral programs.
The Platform currently provides two main user experiences:
(i) the Registration Portal (signup.billions.network), designed to reward community participation, and
(ii) the Identity Wallet (wallet.billions.network), where users store and manage their identity credentials (Billions does not custody users’ private keys).
Users may access these services through the Billions mobile app and/or web interfaces depending on the feature.
The Registration Portal is designed to support onboarding and community participation through activities such as identity verification and referral programs. Users may earn Power for completing activities and may become eligible for promotional benefits or airdrop-related campaigns, subject to additional requirements and verification.
1.1 Account Creation and Social Login
Users may register and access the App by signing in with supported third-party authentication providers, including Apple and Google, and crypto wallets. By completing the registration process, users create a unique profile within the Platform.
1.2 Identity Verification Methods
Following registration, users may complete different verification flows such as:
(i) liveness verification via face scan, and/or
(ii) government ID verification using supported methods such as NFC-enabled passports or Aadhaar QR codes (where available).
This verification process may strengthen trust and enhance the overall integrity of the Platform.
1.3 Credential Issuance and Feature Access
Billions issues verifiable credentials (“Credentials”) to users’ identity wallets based on the verification steps they complete. Credentials are privacy-preserving digital certificates that enable users to prove attributes about themselves using cryptography (including ZK proofs), without exposing unnecessary personal data. Billions may offer different types of Credentials, including Human, Verified Human, and Uniqueness credentials, depending on availability and user eligibility.
These credentials may enable access to certain Platform features, verification badges, rewards, and other benefits within the ecosystem, and may be required to participate in specific initiatives, campaigns, or promotional programs.
1.4 Social Engagement Options
Users are encouraged to engage with the broader community through the following actions:
- Verify their identity
- Follow the Platform on X (formerly Twitter)
- Join the official Discord server
These engagements may be rewarded as part of specific campaigns or initiatives.
1.5 Referral System and Power Accumulation
Each user is provided with a unique referral link which can be shared with third parties. When a new user signs up using a referral link:
- Both the referrer and the referee earn Power.
- Accumulated Power may contribute to eligibility for airdrop opportunities and other promotional benefits, subject to additional checks, eligibility criteria, and availability.
The Power system is intended to recognize and reward community-driven growth and participation.
1.6 Access to the Registration Portal
Registered users may access the Registration Portal, a dedicated interface that provides additional resources, tools, and visibility into the user’s participation and earned benefits within the Platform.
1.7 Official Profile
Official Profile. An Official Profile is a privacy-preserving identity profile on Billions that may allow you and other users to assess whether an account corresponds to a real human based on available verification methods and signals. Official Profiles are provided as available, and their availability, functionality, and badge types may vary by jurisdiction, verification method, and eligibility requirements.
Official Profiles may include badges such as Basic (free), Verified (free), and Premium (paid). Premium may be offered via fixed-term vouchers (e.g., 1-year or 6-year) and does not automatically renew.
Premium Terms at Purchase. If Premium Official Profiles or related paid features are offered for purchase, additional terms and conditions may apply. Those purchase-specific terms (including pricing, payment methods, duration, renewal (if any), refunds, and consumer rights disclosures) will be made available to you at the time of purchase and will form part of these Terms by reference. In the event of a conflict, the purchase-specific terms will prevail with respect to the Premium purchase.
Official Profiles are intended solely for authenticity assessment and safety enhancement. They do not guarantee identity, prevent fraud, or confirm any attribute beyond the scope of the verification performed. They do not create any rights, status, or entitlements beyond the features expressly provided in the Platform, and any verification methods used are governed by our Privacy Policy.
2. Registration & Account Management
To use the Platform, you must:
- Sign up using Google or Apple authentication, or a crypto wallet; and
- Consent to the current Privacy Policy and agree to the Terms of Use at the time of account creation, and upon subsequent login if either document has changed
- Provide basic information, including email, name, and avatar (from Google, if applicable).
- Be of legal age.
You may log out at any time. You may request deletion of your account through the Platform. Certain information (including issued credentials, audit logs, or records required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance) may be retained or may not be technically deletable, as further described in our Privacy Policy.
3. Sanctioned Countries and Geographic Restrictions
Official Profiles are not available to users who are located in, are citizens of, or access the Platform from sanctioned or restricted jurisdictions, including:
Afghanistan, Belarus, Burma (Myanmar), Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Cuba, Ethiopia, Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Nicaragua, North Korea (DPRK), Russia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, Yemen.
This includes any jurisdiction subject to sanctions under EU, UN, or equivalent sanctions regimes, as updated from time to time.
Billions may apply IP-based restrictions or other reasonable technical controls to enforce these restrictions.
Certain features, verification methods, or credential issuance may be restricted or unavailable in certain jurisdictions.
4. Power System & Rewards
Users can earn Power based on various activities:
- Account Creation: 50 power
- Join our Discord: 200 power
- Ethereum Wallet Connection: 100 power
- ETH Balance Verification (>0): 50 power
- ENS Domain Registration: 50 power
- Following Official Account: 200 power
- Posting and Mentioning Project: 50 power
- Daily Login: 25 power
- Referral (referrer): 200 power
- Referral (referee): 100 power
Power may be used to determine eligibility for promotional campaigns, rewards, or airdrop-related programs, which may be subject to additional checks, eligibility criteria, and availability.
*Power has no cash value, is non-transferable, and does not constitute a right to receive tokens or any financial return. Eligibility for any rewards or airdrop-related programs is not a guarantee of receipt.
5. Verification System
5.1 General Verification Steps
Users will undergo verification processes, which may include:
- Ethereum Wallet Verification (wallet connection, balance verification, ENS verification).
- X (Twitter) Verification (confirming you follow the official account).
- reCAPTCHA Verification (to ensure authenticity).
- Discord Verification (confirming you have joined the official Billions Network Discord).
Verification statuses may include: Unverified, In-Progress, Verified, or Error.
All verification processes are accessible through both the Billions mobile app and the Billions web wallet.
5.2 Human Verification and Third-Party Providers
To access certain features, badges, or rewards, users may be required to complete additional human verification, which may include providing identification documents (such as a passport, national ID, or Aadhaar) and/or biometric data (such as facial images). These processes may be conducted via third-party providers and/or Billions Network.
By choosing to complete human verification, you acknowledge and consent to the collection and processing of your identification and biometric data as described in our Privacy Policy. Where biometric data is processed, we will do so only with explicit consent and as described in our Privacy Policy.
5.3 Credential Types and Availability
Billions may issue and/or offer different types of verifiable credentials depending on the verification steps completed by a user, including credentials that attest to (i) liveness/human verification, (ii) government ID verification, and (iii) uniqueness verification. The availability of any credential type may vary by jurisdiction, campaign, or eligibility requirements. Credentials may be subject to limits on issuance, re-issuance, revocation, and deletion.
6. Referral System
Users receive a unique referral link (e.g., billions.network/r/{unique_code}) that can be shared via social platforms. Referral rewards are automatically credited upon successful account creation by the referred user.
Users can track:
- The number of referred friends.
- The total Power earned from referrals.
- Their rank compared to other users.
7. Email Communication
The Platform will use Amazon SES to send emails, including:
- Social media engagement reminders.
- Updates on airdrop status changes.
- Notifications for users with inactive accounts.
In case of communications for promotional or commercial purposes, prior consent must be obtained from the user, who may unsubscribe at any time.
8. Privacy & Data Storage
We collect and store limited Personally Identifiable Information ("PII"), which may include:
- First name
- Avatar (if provided via Google authentication)
- User’s time zone
We collect and process only the personal and biometric information that is necessary to provide, secure, and improve our services. The types of data processed, retention periods, deletion protocols, and safeguards may vary depending on the authentication and verification method used and applicable regulatory requirements.
We aim to minimize the collection and processing of personal data and use privacy-preserving technologies (including cryptographic proofs) to enable verification without disclosing unnecessary information. Full details regarding what personal and biometric data we collect, how it is stored, and data subject rights (including deletion) are described in our Privacy Policy, which is regularly updated to reflect current practices and legal obligations.
9. Fees & Transactions
The Platform does not charge fees for account registration, but users must cover any blockchain gas fees associated with blockchain transactions on supported networks (including Ethereum and other networks supported by the Platform). Gas fees are variable and determined by the applicable blockchain network.
10. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to use the Platform for:
- Any illegal, fraudulent, or malicious activity.
- Circumventing security measures using VPNs, bots, or automation.
- Providing false or misleading information.
- Harassment, hate speech, or abusive behavior.
- Engaging in any action that disrupts the Platform’s functionality.
- Abusing any bugs or using technology to circumvent any restrictions or requirements applicable to any of our services or products, including, but not limited to, our APIs, consumer products (such as mobile apps and verification), business products (such as issuer nodes), and other core credential issuance and verification products.
11. Platform Modifications & Termination
11.1 We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Platform at any time without prior notice. If a user violates these Terms, we may suspend or terminate their access.
11.2 We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through our Platform.
Section 11A: Enforcement Actions, Remedies, and User Rights
11A.1 Enforcement Actions
Enforcement actions will only be initiated if there is a reasonable belief of a violation, and after a good-faith investigation, where feasible, users will receive advance notice before actions against their account(s). All actions will be proportional to the severity and circumstances of the violation.
In order to preserve the integrity, security, and fairness of the Billions Network, we may take responsive actions, applying clear and objective criteria, always proportionate to the severity and circumstances of the violation in the event of any violation of these Terms, suspected abuse, or prohibited activity, including but not limited to:
- Adjusting or removing Power, rewards, tokens, or related benefits accrued through non-compliant, fraudulent, or abusive means.
- Disqualifying users from participating in reward events, airdrops, or future campaigns.
- Temporarily or permanently suspending or restricting access to the Platform, specific product(s), or feature(s)
- Void, retract, or cancel any campaign participation, contest results, or promotions if found to be obtained in violation of these Terms
- Initiating investigations or requests further information when abuse is suspected.
Permanent removal of user profiles will only be exercised in cases of demonstrated fraud, abuse, or other unlawful use of the Platform, and will be communicated to the affected user together with the reasons.
11A.2 Notification and Appeals
Where a material enforcement action is taken, such as Power removal, account suspension, or disqualification from rewards, impacted user(s) will be notified in-platform and/or by email, including a summary of the reasons for the action, and may contact Billions Support to seek further explanation or to appeal the decision.
11A.3 Data Handling, Privacy, and User Rights
All enforcement activities and related data processing will be carried out in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Users may at any time:
- Request access, correction, or deletion of their personal data.
- Receive information about the basis and outcome of enforcement actions, upon written request
11A.4 Recordkeeping, Transparency, and Compliance
A detailed log of enforcement and remedial actions, including reasons and user account adjustments, will be maintained for audit and support.All enforcement actions involving withdrawal of allocations, rewards, or tokens will be supported by documented evidence of non-compliant or fraudulent activity, retained for audit and review.
11A.5 No Waiver and User Rights
The decision of Billions Network not to immediately enforce any measure shall not be construed as a waiver of its right to do so at a later time. Any enforcement action shall be exercised within a reasonable period and in compliance with applicable law and regulatory requirements.
Under no circumstances shall Billions Network’s discretion be interpreted as limiting or undermining the non-waivable rights of users, including those relating to personal data protection under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and any equivalent data protection or consumer protection regulations applicable in the user’s jurisdiction. In addition, Billions Network shall not exercise such rights in a manner that constitutes arbitrary or discriminatory treatment of users.
12. Intellectual property rights
The entire content of the Application, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, sound elements, videos, as well as the structure, layout and design of both the Billions mobile app and Billions web wallet, are the exclusive property of Billions Network S.A.
Any reproduction, representation, modification, adaptation, distribution or exploitation, in whole or in part, of any of these elements, by any means whatsoever, without the prior written authorization of Billions Network S.A, is strictly prohibited and may constitute an infringement of intellectual property rights punishable by applicable law.
The use of the Application or any attempt to copy, modify, or reproduce its design and content does not confer any intellectual property rights. Any unauthorized use may result in the suspension or termination of access to the Application, without prejudice to any legal action that Billions Network S.A. may take.
13. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
- Reaching certain levels qualifies users for eligibility in Airdrop opportunities; however, additional verifications may be required in the future.
- The Platform is not responsible for the final receipt of the AirDrop. While the Platform may classify users as eligible, it does not guarantee final receipt, as it may be subject to additional checks or conditions imposed by the AirDrop issuer.
- The Platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no warranties regarding availability, accuracy, or security.
- Users are solely responsible for securing their Ethereum wallets.
- We are not liable for any financial losses, including lost Power or airdrop rewards.
- Blockchain transactions are irreversible; we do not have control over Ethereum network fees or transaction failures.
- We are not responsible for external links, nor for the content, products, or services offered on such websites. The inclusion of links on our Platform does not imply an endorsement or guarantee of the security or accuracy of the information provided by third parties. Accessing and using any linked external site is at your own risk, and we recommend reviewing their terms and conditions before engaging with them.
14. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes shall be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction in Spain, unless mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
